Before everything else, Big Bang, Kpop and the likes, there was Miyavi! The tattooed, smexin, androgynous looking artist gifted in song writing, singing and rapping. It's been 11 years and his music is still freaking unbelievable :D

@Nekogal1810 жыл бұрын
yes they so lucky and he is lucky he is a dad thats the best gift a man can get
i dont get why people are so offended by the fact that he's not the angry little visual kei rocker any more. he grew up, he dealt with his shit and now that he's not so consumed by whatever issues he had he has moved on to contemplate other bigger things. that's what grown ups do.
@ryanjarvis21786 жыл бұрын
Visshaldar why should ppl be offended? I've discovered him in 2007 and I LOVE his music today more than ever.

To be honest I miss his old style. This "angry little rocker" style. But I'm proud of him. He's already adult...and that's a fact

I think this is why japanese rock stars differ from other Western rock stars. They're definitely more alive and has a lot of movements when playing. They Dont just stand run around and play the instrument their body movements become electrifying

Normal "artists" nowadays have half-naked women dancing around them in music videos; Miyavi has half-naked men instead.

I actually think this is a seriously good song. And it shows his diversity as an artist. he can do hard rock, screamo, sexy, pop, punk, and a little bit of everything in between. *shrug* i don't think he means to be someone you HAVE to listen to all of their songs. he wants people of every genre to listen to him, and to listen to the songs in particular of his that fit their personal taste in genre. that' all. if this isn't your forte, i think he understands that and is fine with it.
@silverstorm100010 жыл бұрын
I like his rock stuff better but this is not a bad song really. Just not what I was expecting being a fan of his older stuff.
@TheVigilette10 жыл бұрын
yeah and that's totally understandable too. :) but people change so we have to sort of change with them.

歌詞置きます、これかっこよすぎてめっちゃハマる! Imagine nothing in the morning light If the world ended we had one last night So every man has danced through history Around the fires from the clubs to seas And in our life we have an instinct for us To move to move to move If you come with me don't fall behind With the horizon in sight Just imagine let go of your mind Like we're on the edge of the light We'll be going like Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh We want it all Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh Before it ends tonight So tell me what this life is all about Cuz we've been close but time is running out Imagine dancing on horizon's floor We do what's natural to us once more The world might end tomorrow but one thing I know I know I know If you come with me don't fall behind With the horizon in sight Just imagine let go of your mind Like we're on the edgeof light We'll be going like Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh We want it all Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh Before it ends tonight If you come with me don't fall behind With the horizon in sight Just imagine let go of your mind Like we're on the edge of light We'll be going like Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh We want it all Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh We'll be going like Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh We want it all Yeah oh "O-do-re" oh oh oh oh Before it ends tonight it ends tonight Before it ends tonight

OH MY GOD YES. This change is so positive. I didn't listen to his music in ages, and I just looked him up, and I was like "holy shit, no way". I love this new style, it goes against the trend of looking like an anime character or somewhat caucasian. No makeup, just his face, this is how an asian male looks like, and it's glorious, beautiful. Even though he sings in English now, you can't deny he looks more Japanese than ever.

Miyavi is one of the best things that's ever happened to this planet. I'm so thankful for his music.
I cant take the people hating on this song. Miyavi is an artist, reinventing himself is part of being an artist, being active for for 14 years certainly makes him wanna try new things and I bet he thought that having such a solid carreer would give him the oportunity to try this new things. Seriously, true fans should support him no matter what.
@luke666808g10 жыл бұрын
artists change yeah, but it's suspicious when they start blending in dance pop, which is known for being shallow and materialistic (the sort of stuff they play on the radio for 12 yr old girls)
@sabella6910 жыл бұрын
@Soren Sorensen: Well said. An artist evolves and reinvents, does not stagnate and stay the same. The strong reactions in both directions say he is succeeding. It's like eating the same food, you have to try new recipes and flavors.
@Raymoiful10 жыл бұрын
It depends on what kind of a fan are you. True fans of music will support an artists when he makes good music. Obsessive fans will support an artist no matter how shitty his music is.
@roja885 жыл бұрын
And obnoxious fans will criticize an artist based on blind nostalgia instead of the merits of his work.
Not many artists go out of their way to broaden there horizon's and I admire him for singing in english it takes a lot of courage to make sure that every word can be understood and I think Miyavi has done a amazing job! I also can't wait to see the o-so gorgeous Miyavi in the upcoming film Unbroken! I really love this song, so thanks for ruining my strictly kpop playlist!!!

StonedHeartTM What the hell? 1- Speak normal english, for God's sake (My native language is spanish and I manage to have a better spelling than you!) 2- "having too much sex"? What the fuck? He's married, for God's sake! Why do you care so much about his sexual life? That doesn't make him "a hoe" and he can have as much sex as he wants, because he's fucking married! And he has two daugther. Oh and what if she finds him sexy? I find him sexy and attractive as well! That's a matter of personal taste! You don't need to call her bitch because of that! :/ If you don't like him/his voice, then get the hell out of here!

This man has experimented with rock,screamo , punk , visual kei , and even pop... he plays guitar as if he drinks a glass of water-with absolutely no effort. He never got cocky about being so cool and popular,he instead tried even harder to make everyone like his music, through performing in any kind of gender he was capable of.This man. . This man, is my idol. Thank you Miyavi for being so real even while being a HUGE star.
