It's nice to see a newer review of this thing. Everything out there is 6 months old and don't take into account any potential updates. Good video!

Retro game corp did a whole review of the updated stuff just a little while ago.

Curious to see how far down the retro handheld rabbit hole you go. These things are supper addictive.

I’m thinking about picking one of these up to use as an every day carry. I had considered the RG Nano but it’s just way too small, I’d never manage to sprint in super Mario without hitting multiple buttons.

Thanks for the review Sir!. Would be curious to hear your reasons for getting rid of your consoles. Was the Steam Deck sold also?
@Cyko..4 ай бұрын
I don't know what his reasoning was, but for me I just don't have a lot of room for everything. It's 2024 now and technology has advanced. I don't need 7 consoles plugged up to the tv anymore. I can just buy a mini PC, Raspberry Pi, or Anbernic and connect it via HDMI and have hundreds of games and systems all in one neat little package.
@TechSpaceCowboy4 ай бұрын
Steam deck sold too yeah. I just didn’t play them. I wanted any games I’m currently playing to be pocketable so they can join me anywhere and are unintrusive to other parts of my life Then I have my gaming laptop for some of the heavier steam titles.

Seeing it in your hands it's quite hard to tell if it's too small or if you are a really big guy. Because it looks tiny compared to your hands haha. Anyways great vid, I really wanna buy one now

I got the Miyoo Mini Plus for $40 on Temu! Worth every penny!
@dgevert4 ай бұрын
The screen resolution bump was because Miyoo ran out of the 480p screens. That's why they were out of stock for so long. Btw...you said it's durable. Don't drop it...or you might find that it actually isn't lol. I had a Miyoo Mini v3 and now I'm on a Miyoo Mini Plus. Love it!
@dgevert4 ай бұрын
BTW I scored my MMP off the experience shop on tiktok with the 40% initial discount. So I got it for just over $30.
@TechSpaceCowboy4 ай бұрын
Oh I’ve definitely dropped mine a bit lol. What happened to yours?
@dgevert4 ай бұрын
@@TechSpaceCowboy I never dropped mine but the screen is fragile. There's very little bezel so any drop is likely putting direct force on the edge of the screen. There's a lot of busted Miyoo Minis that only fell a couple of feet.
@peterkefalos74303 ай бұрын
Ironically enough I have the v4 and the plus and to me the v4 just feels way more durable maybe because it’s more compact so everything is packed tighter inside idk lol

It doesn't make sense to spend more than 100 bucks for this, instead of 50 for the plus version. (Even if i prefer this small One)
