Miyu Nagaoka is a power hitter and she is a powerful lefty which added advantage. Do you see her hits even she is only 1.8 m height compared to 1.9 m of Kim Yeon Koung ? Miyu leap is so high. Cross court powerful spikes from right to left is added advantage from lefty. Her combination with outside hitrers Sarina Koga and Yuki Ishii would make Japan a potent force in 2020 olympics. But as we know she was rule out due to injuries. How good if we can have Japan and South korea in semi finals.

Although Nagaoka is the best Manabe's choice now, Japan still need Ebata and Risa in lineup. Rio 2016 will be worse than London 2012. However, hope Saori Kimura will play better. No Ebata, No Risa, Saori must play 3 or even 10 as usual

Yukiko Ebata The problem is that both Nagaoka and Ebata didn't participate in reception. Therefore they cannot play together. That was a pity that Ebata couldn't join 2016 Rio
