@@Diabolics6894 I say it feels like something my parents would watch because they could literally sit through an entire series documenting the life of Queen Elizabeth. The stuff in Shōgun seemed to not only deal too much with ancient Japanese politics, but the first episode literally felt like an episode in the middle of the season rather than, well, *the beginning*
