You're downplaying Norfleet, he was not only a great receiver he was also an outstanding blocker. A lot of Schrader's yards came as a result of Norfleet blocking.

Norfleet was outstanding as a true Freshman. Coming back with that year of experience and 20+ lbs stronger Hell of an athlete all around 90+mph fastball in 8th grade, was def getting looks from MLB. Glad he's playing football for Miz Young man is gonna make a hell of a mark if he stays healthy.

You totally forgot to mention Drey Norwood at corner who played a large role as the 3rd DB and started a lot for Rakestraw being that he was injured a lot last year. He also was db3 as a true freshman in 2020 or 21 when he transferred from A&M. You put him and Pride together and they could be pretty good. Norwood is really underrated because the others were so good

DBs are gonna be fine pride, Clarke, Norwood, McNeil, Deloach, and Jamarion Wayne who is a complete freak of an athlete. DT is a concern but if they gell together with Kristen Williams staying healthy up the middle this team is gonna be scary good

Mizzou has the easiest schedule in the sec. Only tough games are Bama and oklahoma. Auburn decent. Arkansas and aggies are trash

Lots of old and young talent. Offense will be elite. Defense has the talent just gotta figure out everyone's role get those rotations established. Once we get rolling with that should be hard to beat. I agree even better than last year. Guys like Darris Smith and Chris McClellan will blow up in our system. Secondary is fine plus elite young talent that could push for time.

Defense (secondary) and special teams (kicker) success (or lack thereof) will mean the difference between a 10-2/11-1 regular season and a 7-5 regular season.

Just when you think something great is going to happen, something unexpected tragically derails the whole season. Mike Dixon being suspended, Chelsea Thomas gets hurt, and Shane Ray getting ejected for disputed targeting call, come to mind.

Why talk about lack of rbs. T. Jones came in as a big time rb but never gets in a game so nobody knows. Him and the frosh rb is always forgotten. Drink needs to give them a legit chance and not always looking for a transfer portal rb or at least give them a chance.

The Mizzou hype is insane. Yes, they will have a decent offense, but they've had that for years. Last year's team went 11-2 because the defense was also good. That defense is gone, including the staff. Back to .500 for Average Eli.

This is a good example of an opposing fan that doesn't realize how incorrect their info really is. Missouri was #83 in the nation in offensive scoring efficiency in 2022. They jumped all the way up to #22 after Drinkwitz hired his first OC. This will be Year 2 for OC Kirby Moore.

Bowers missed 4-5 games last year and UGA still won every game outside of 1. How many games in a row wins Mizzou without Luther Burden ? Bama, Georgia they rotate 10-12 O-liner and D-liner in and out and there are no 3 Stars on the trenches ...

I just don’t see them being good consistently. They just lost their defensive coordinator and their leading rusher. Still not convinced any of last years success was because of Drinkiwitz. Their saving grace is their returning offensive players and the complete lack of competition in their regular season schedule

The DC loss is a legit question mark. We’ll see what happens, but I think Schrader’s success had a lot to do with the blocking and scheme, although he was very talented. The IOL is all back and you have two successful backs coming in via the portal to replace those rushing yards from last year in the aggregate. If the new coordinator can just produce a competent D with the talent that’s there, Mizzou is off and running towards 10-11 regular season wins, barring catastrophic injuries.

That's because you're living in the 1990's. Drinkwitz has proven he can recruit at a high level (both at the high school and transfer portal level) and hire excellent young coordinators. (See Kirby Moore, and Blake Baker).

Ah yes, the game where Cook as playing with a torn labrum and Drink calling the plays. You do realize he's healthy now with Kirby Moore calling the plays and a plethora of high level receivers to throw to? Schrader is/was a stud, but the two kids they brought in via the portal and the stud (Kewan Lacy) from Texas should fill in nicely.

Did you not get enough hugs as a child? He finally had a TE, was mostly healthy, an outside WR, & a OL that took a step up. Shrader as great as he was benefited from all of that. If it weren't for all of that Shrader doesn't have that season. You're in bizzaroverse.
