Exactly what I was going to say. I'm not sure why the police indulge these guys so much, other than the fact that the police are being raked over the coals for every little thing. They are hesitating, because everybody has a camera, and no matter how egregious the conduct, the police are criticized no matter what they do. It's dangerous for them, because when they hesitate, they could be killed or injured. These nuts can go from zero to a hundred in 1 second, and he could have any number of weapons.

The guards march from A to B on a clearly marked route, if tourists or bystanders block the route the sergeant will announce in a clear audible voice "Make way for the Queens guard" the choice is then up to you. If you don't stand aside the guard will push you aside without breaking step. I'm sure there are instances in the states which are similar, maybe at the tomb of the unknown soldier ? if you refuse an order from the guard there you don't get a second chance, the order is not up for debate or an opportunity to discuss your constitutional rights. First amendment frauditors use much of the same language, but they also think that their cameras are threatening. The threat of recording has even less weight behind it now that most jurisdictions mandate body worn cameras for all officers.
