Can’t be mad, all those ADHD diagnoses are now shifting to “depression”. Both wrong- those folks just need to move more and will feel better not being around the people they can’t communicate with for whatever reason. The hyperventilating is an absolute effect from the cause forced by pharmaceuticals for the last 20 years.

I did a law degree in England. They used My Cousin Vinnie to show how to deal with adverse witnesses, and they also played us the bit where he doesn't ask for bail because he knows they won't get it, and asking would only annoy the judge (I've actually done something very similar to that in court and the client was livid)

Re purple hair: my sister wore her hair purple, and it was actually a clever choice in her case. She had very little use of her legs and used a wheelchair. She found after a while that if she let her hair remain its usual gray, everyone thought of her as "the woman in the wheelchair," but if she wore her hair in an unusual color, they thought of her as "that cool lady with the weird hair," and largely ignored the wheelchair. I watched for a while after that, and she was absolutely right! Whenever her hair faded toward gray, people disregarded her opinions more often, and talked to me *about* her instead of talking to her. "Does she want these bagged?" the grocery clerk would say, instead of asking her directly what she wanted. But when it was recently dyed, she was suddenly treated like an adult human being, and they talked to her directly.

My gosh, mush mouth was driving me insane. The ease at which these courts just accept addresses and other information from defendants is astounding. I’ve never seen that before.
