Grady Byus takes you through the 2020 MJM Yachts 50z. He demonstrates how accessible and spacious this boat is, with boarding doors on both port and starboard and flush deck layout. There is a tremendous amount of storage. For instance, she has a utility room and large storage spaces under the port and starboard lazarette. She's equipped with Volvo Penta joystick control, Seakeeper stabilizer, B&G Electronics, windlass control, and more. The 50z below deck is well appointed with a conduction cooktop. If this thing is as advertised it's my newest dream boat. Small enough for me to run on my own. Big enough to do anything I would want. Efficient at traditional trawler speeds and more than fast enough. Though I would probably find a way to add fuel. I have over 60k off shore miles onboard nearly every type. This is as ideal to me as I have seen

What's better? The inboard, with the 3 Volvo IPS pods, or the four outboards? If you were buying the boat? I can think of advantages to both, but if I were to get one, I'd prefer the inboards, except for them probably being more expensive to keep up, and if you ever hit anything, you're screwed. I can imagine there's more storage with outboards, and they're faster, easier to work on, not as susceptible to sinking if you hit something, but I just don't know which trade-offs would make one better than the other.
