Oversized fit with 8+ inches of Positive Ease. Choose the size based on the preferred Finished Bust Measurement.
Note: Please take note that for Sizes Small, it requires approximately 4 balls of Best Value yarn and 5 balls of Prism yarn. To ensure that you have enough yarn for your project, I highly recommend ordering some extra as a precaution.
Additionally, I want to mention that when working with the Prism yarn, I found that slightly more yardage was used compared to the Best Value yarn. This difference could be attributed to the minor variation in yarn weight or tension while crocheting.

Great instructions, thank you so much. I find it helps placing a stitch marker into each V-stitch, that way it’s easier to see where to place the next V-stitch and the three dc’s into the ch-1 st. on each side of the V-stitch.

❤❤❤❤❤ You are so talented and inspiring. This is the best one yet! I know I say this every time, but I am going to make these for everyone in my family for Christmas. I can’t thank you enough. I am someone who gets “FINISHITIS” 😂. I really put off seaming up sides and sewing on collars and sleeves. I just started this yesterday and can see the end and I am enjoying this pattern so much. I love it when I can see the progress as I’m working. No surprises except that you have made me the best I can be. And starting mine in variegated wool, pretty amazing. Almost finished in fact. I find that finishing the edges before making the sleeves easier to have a correct length for the sleeves indeed ❤

Just went and bought some yarn to make this!!! I’m so excited even though in store didn’t have enough of the color I originally wanted so I chose something else but that just means to go back and make a second one when they have the color back I did want.

The starting chain is the same for all sizes, only the number of rows in the yoke increases as the size gets bigger.

First off, I love this pattern. I used it to make my first wearable. So thankful to Mj for the video! I made my self on this fall and wear it all the time. I’m making one of these for my sister in law and for some reason it kind of rides forward when tried on. Is there a to fix that? I’ve checked over and over and I don’t think I did anything wrong but the fit just seems “off” for some reason. Has anyone else encountered this? I’m not sure if making the band wider would help or not.

Is your gauge correct? Providing everything is correct, I would try steaming or blocking the sweater it can make a huge difference.

Im about to complete this. It has been easy to follow along even as a beginner. I used a weight 4, acrylic yarn, and noticed it being heavy as im coming up on completing it. What other yarn and weight can this be done so it's more light in weight

Quick question, MJ. When you are adding the ribbed cuff to the sleeve, are you still working on the wrong side? You may have said this and I missed it. It looks like you finished your last row of the granny stitch and just continued, which would make it the wrong side, but I just wanted to check.

I LOVED making this!!!! I made one with Caron Cotton Cakes that so had in hand (I wasn’t sure I had the skill level to make a sweater 🤷‍♀️). I used a smaller hook and made the xs…It fits my 8 year old wonderfully. Instruction is great and I bought the pattern so I could follow the written directions as well. There is no place for me to post a picture for you to see it though? 🤔 Thank you for the wonderful pattern. 🌹🌹
