3:36 this moment goes under appreciated, you see young Johnny looking at Sonya you expect young Johnny to look at any woman, but you see old Johnny looking at Sonya like he's looking at the wife he knows and loves, with all the love you expect a happily married man to look at his wife. Sonya sees both of them and sees the Johnny she knows and sees the Johnny she'll grow to know. That's what makes her smile, she realises Johnny matures later in life and changes almost entirely, and entirely for the better. That's why it's an underrated moment, so much is said without a word being spoken..... uuuuntill young Johnny fucks it all up

I'm sure there is much more family interactions that one could do - for example there are some pretty funny snippy lines with Jax & Jacqui, or with Kotal & Jade and a few more. Most have a bit of dysfunction. XD [ btw. stay tuned for an entire video filled with just movie references. ]

I think MK11 really did a good job showing how much Johnny has matured over the years. Older Johnny still cracks jokes, still acts like the star, but he knows he's been an asshole, and he doesn't let the stupid shit he used to do slide anymore.

One annoying thing with the intros is that they don't differentiate between past and present versions. Some of these don't make sense if they don't have the right version/skin!

If I was in Cassie’s shoes in the last clip I’d be so distraught 😔 Cassie’s face in the last clip was so great as in like that’s how any normal human would react to knowing that they’ll never have their actual mom again, stuck with a younger version of her doesn’t make it better because she never knew about your existence and all those memories with her are gone and she can’t remember them. 5:57 Johnny has to be one of my all time favorite characters in MK11 bc of this voice line alone. NRS made him so likable with everything from his character development to his fatalities (which are one of the best in the game imo, the puppet one anyone?!) and his dialogues are so funny. Young Sonya and Kitana are the hottest in MK11 with Jade being the third. Cassie was way more hotter in MKX, felt they nerfed her design/looks for some weird reason, only good thing was they gave her longer hair. Overall, I hate how because of SJW's, women of MK cant be voluptuous as they once was. These are highly conditioned women in combat, theyare honna have some good bodies on them due to the squats in their workouts alone lmao plus this a fantasy videogame, its amazing how Netherrealm has buckled to the minority of loudmouths who never appreciated their game in the first place

The whole "younger versions interacting with older versions" shtick is just genius. It feels like a love letter to MK fans. And I love Sonya's line "Why learn their names if they're not gonna stick around?" - I do that with my own daughters. Told 'em if they marry a guy, THEN I'll bother remembering his name. Until then, he's just a future ex-boyfriend.
