My most favorite one is that Mileena apologizes Kenshi for blinding him even though she was not being herself that time. It shows that MK1 is mostly focus on villains' redemption arc, which includes Sindel and Tanya.

What i like the most is Liu Kang being so good with Shao Khan bring general while being harsh with all other main villains,tbecause out of all of the main villains, Shao Khan was the only one that was capable of love. He loved Sindel so much and got angry that not only his servants did not help Kitana and Mileena get the throne but got genuinely angry that Mileena died too. He also had no choice in being what he is, he was raised in Onaga's army and all he knew was violence, war and conquering and he enjoyed it, even his ending on MK11 shows how much he likes the heat o battle, so making him work for the good guys could have really worked.

Baraka main here. I legitimately like how Baraka is more than standard canon fodder now. Considering he was always a low key extremely useful character. Mileena not being a standard villian is a nice change too.

Reptile always seemed to be more of a neutral character as he mostly only served those he believed would help him survive. Same with Baraka during MK 11 as he was mostly on Shao’s side because he gave the Tarkatans protection from the rest of Outworlders that hated their kind. Mileena was the result of Shang Tsung and Shao’s influences in the original timelines.

I just love how Reptile was essentially adopted by Johnny and the gang after they freed him from Shang Tsung's control. That just makes it more jarring. You have people like Sindel and Mileena apologizing to Kenshi then immediately attacks regardless because that is how the game transitions. It would works for other fighting games since those aren't gore-heavy but MK's literal identity is that it is brutal and gory, so having these kinds of conversations on some characters are a complete clash of tone.

i detail i really like about kenshi in this game is that when the characters are clashing in the intro kenshi isnt looking at them directly he's looking sightly to the side because he is putting his ear near to them so he can hear better its a nice attention to detail

Kenshi Takahashi aka the Matt Murdock of the MK universe. I love that he returned in this latest installment and he more sleek than ever before. Mileena and Kenshi are giving me Daredevil and Elektea vibes. I adore it. The chemistry is dangerous.

All the Yakuza and Black Dragon talk interests me and has me looking forward to a potential DLC focused on Kenshi’s Quest in Earthrealm and potentially introducing Kano, Sonya, and Jax among possibly more. Also whatever Ashrah has planned with assistance from Reptile. Just so many interesting paths to take and stories to tell.

I haven’t played this game yet, but Kenshi looks so sick. It looks like they emphasized that he’s not just Japanese but has some sort of Western nationality too like American. It also looks like they inferred that he not only feels he deserves being blind from his time as Yakuza but also more enlightened and stronger from it too.
