Take in consideration, this is a motion capture vfx, the original looks odd due to the fact that it's NOT Anthony Starr, in his place, idk it's the same as the voice actor Chris Cox but whoever the face model is; it's obviously and inevitable that people are gonna look every detail and there are some differences between the original and the deepfake cause they don't have the same similarities on the facial area.

0:26 u can tell the difference between toning and shading, the one on the left is just white skin with shading which passes off as good to the first sighting, but then when u see the deep fake and how theres toning of tan and other colors, it what truly makes it realistic, they give female game characters makeup but they dont give males color toning on the face

I think WB tried to go the soft route with Homelander like they did with Terminator. Arnold wouldn't agree to be a part of anything when it came to them bringing Terminator into MK11, while Anthony Starr was never called upon in the first place which is a weird choice not to. So his face looks mad weird compared to the other more realistic faces of the cast. And Chris Cox is Homelander's voice actor, the same guy who voice acted Terminator in MK11. LOL

All I really noticed between the two was the size of his irises and more defined wrinkles when he raises his eyebrows. I think they got him pretty spot on in the game

@@maceinmyeyes6915 Well to be fair the had to use a motion capture actor and since it wasn't Anthony Star, the motion capture's face didn't fully match with Anthony's Face, (Which is why Peacemaker looks good because John Cena was there to do Motion Capture and so did JK Simmons for facial recognition.)

@@soldier_b0y it's pre-rendered, which means they rendered it somewhere else then slapped the result in the video. Though, the game itself loads the models in real time, and the more detailed the face model is, the more demanding it will be for the machine to render during gameplay

@@Polengue this is so funny in ps5 resident evil 4 remake weighs 58 gigabytes, and mk1 114 gigabytes. Although if you compare the graphics of these video games, it feels like MK1 came out in 2015, instead of shelling out money from their customers, they should work on quality, or their graphic designers are disabled or they are simply underpaid. Because the faces of the characters, if you compare them with those in MK11, are simply terrible.

While I think Nether Realm Studios getting JK Simmons (who is an Oscar winner) to reprise Omni Man, but not getting Antony Starr to reprise Homelander is a little stupid, I am glad Christopher Cox got the opportunity to bring his take on Homelander to life. I'm guessing Nether Realm Studio put more money into other DLC and expect players to pay more and more money behind paywalls than it took for them to come up with the funds to pay Antony Starr for a reprise.

i think if you look at john cena he was actually involved thats how they got his likeness but Anthony starr isnt apart fo this so they probably couldn't do his exact likeness. i think for what it is its good but i get not wanting to settle

What's funny is that the ps5 is more than capable of handling that level of detail with some minor tweaks, but game development today is all about profit with little to no passion.
