Reptile became my unironic favorite in mk1 like mkx reptile was troll at best but they made him a beast in mk1 I don't even care about competitive either he's just goated in mk1 and probably won't ever be better than he is now

If someone put a gun to my head and said “pull off a b2 cancel combo in KL” I’d have my brains blown out. I can’t stand how input-precise they made Smoke.

It's not as hard as you think, alot of it is just timing muscle memory. What's really impressive are the consecutive cancels between multiple different mixes. Because the timing on b2 cancel is different from the f32 cancel.

It's possible but usually they're only able to do it when they're winning the nuetral. Therefore only one person is usually invis

You know, while I do think Reptile could use some buffs, you would think he's starving for them with all these doomers. People really treated week 1 tier lists like gospel and held onto the belief that's he's bottom tier trash, lol. Kind of funny to think I used to be one of those people who thought his damage sucked

People are over reactive, reason why game devs dont usually listen to the community and wait a good while before they patch or nerf characters. Similar to when SF6 dropped, people were saying Zangief was top tier and insanely good and now he's generally considered the worst character in the game

Damage is not the problem. His move set is incomplete, no safe mid launcher, and too many gaps in his main combo starting strings

You may not see it in playing randoms in kombat league, but will not age well at all at a high level

If only he had a special move that launched his opponents and if only he had an incredibly easy to hit-confirm mid string that's safe on block! Oh, wait... "Too many gaps in his main combo strings." Let's see. His back 3 string and his...nope, that's literally it. "This will not age well at all at a high level." Literally all I said was he's not starving for buffs while also acknowledging that he _does_ need buffs

@@Kitsune986 he has 2 EX moves that do nothing B31 is literally the only good ranged string that has to be hit confirmed and has a launchable gap. EX Ball is punishable on block from any cancellable string. You tell me what’s good about the character lmao

I agree that it’s goofy that his ex invisibility doesn’t do anything extra, but it either needs to be givin something alittle extra or take the ability to ex it in general, how much stronger do you need a move to be that literally gives you a 50/50?
