I was on the pc version. Had a week to play before the nerfs. Her combos before we’re good. Idk why they had to nerf her when she played fine.

Kabal is as he's always been. Good character that you need to spend time with, to reach the next level! Dash cancel pressure would help too.

They nerfed her so bad. :( Fan throw is one of her most important tool which is a good combo starter. Now in midscreen combos her fan throw really useless. And her damage is not good as well. Because of these my main is now Jade. They really need to buff this game. Kitana, Jade, Skarlet.. All characters need combo options cause game feels a little bit dull right now.

Kabal was brilliant during the MK9 era. I loved fighting against him with Mileena, Kitana or Sonya. Nice to know he's still a great fighter

From what I played, she has no overheads whatsoever and her fans can’t combo for some reason unless you use the up fan ability.

There are a lot of characters with no overheads, I don't consider that one of her weaknesses. I agree though, she does need a little love from NRS

She cant combo on mid screen - get 28% it's really hard. She has no good punish for close like before. The first hit for punishing it's a high with 8 frames and that does not work good cause you'll get 25% probably. Her long range for "safe" chareacters it's also not good. You cant combo with fans anymore. She gets NEGATIVE AS HELL when u try to combo with the mix up, both mixes up. She is really weak on this game. Facing Erron Black, Jade, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Sonya and some other with her- its complicated.

People calling for buffs on kitana clearly dont know how to play footsies or even seem to realize this game is literally footsies. So why is it a surprise to see kitana not have mid screen infinite fan combos? Only thing ill mention is her combo dmg is subpar, but thats really the entire cast dilemma outside of maybe a few chars which are S tier( and id expect those chars to see dmg scaled down if NRS is pushing for balance in this game). Compared to the rest of the cast tho, Kitana is perfectly balanced

Nayxf 0 yea she does wtf, b132 is like -4 b2 is 0 and it’s good for staggering, b231 is like -4 or 7 and d2 at the end makes it like -4, b13 is -5 with a lot of push back for footsies, you don’t know what you’re talking about

rose_gold_boi it’s her fastest and even then the start up is 8 frames lmao. She has no moves that are less start up than 8 frames she needs a major buff.

Kitana has a lot of safe moves. All of her strings but two (the two most useless) are -7 or less, which is effectively safe, only punishable by 6 framers, which don't lead to big damage.

If you can land f4 after the b1,2,d2 krushing blow you get more damage. Also f3 after nomad dash is more optimal

Her projectile has the threat of a water gun. Kitana needs to keep dashing forward (as shown on video) cos the ranged/neutral game is not strong enough.

the problem is a char with buttons like kitana need alot of respect which she doesn't get because she gets out zoned hella hard in this game, her d1 is 9f, her d3 is 7f but has no range, tbh her d4 I think when spaced properly seems to be most reliable yet too slow to be used up close where pokes actually matter. her b1 and b2 while decent buttons are too slow..and she never gets to poke after her strings because her opponent has no reason to respect her because shes - on everything. Her damage without df2 krushing blow which she gets once per Match is nothing to write home about. she just lacks in every single department. combo damage, pokes, frames, zoning. she just needs like str8 up buffs across the board along with kotal, frost, and dvorah.

HyperXuserXD Hehe I meant that I miss Kitana’s Revealing MK9 kostume. In MK11,only males fight in less clothes. Especially Cage,Jax,baraka,kabal,kotal,Liu Kang and Kano(He pees only on designated kombat zone),and Shao Kahn.
