The countdown is on and we have a ton of stuff to do on our MK3 Drag car. We've made over 1000whp in it which at this point seemed like the easiest part. Our first event is coming up fast and we still have paint, and endless small things to do. Race car life, means no life.

Valve cover, depends what you want. Gray won't look much different than a typical cast aluminum. Red will pop, but the coils are also red so that kinda sucks. I'd probably leave it lol.

Did 25+ HPD gen10 CTR cars from raw chassis to full turn key TCR cars at my race team(when in the shop, my roll was fabricator, so these were straight up FULL builds, so fun). Love making fire lines and hard lines for brakes/fuel, etc. Better than making harness but def not making a harness. Love this type of content.

LOVE TO SEE THIS! im a fuel cell, pumps and hoses from getting to installing the 16vt engine and parts ive been collectin for 10 years ;) also have you looked around for an obd1 grille? that or a vento would be make a beautiful JTI also color match the vavle cover. you already have the r8 coilpacks to give it a nice contrast.

The handle for the chute looks a little small and fiddly, why not use one of the larger pull down ones and incorporate the air brake into it? I like the polished valve cover.

I've used this handle in the past without any issues. It doesn't take much effort to pull it so there's no need for it to be beefy. As for deploying shoot with air, that may happen eventually but the list is already way to long and we need to draw the line so we can get to the track,.

Unrelated to this video but I am looking at doing a 4motion conversion on a dsg Scirocco MK3 (Mk6 golf basically) using a MK2 TT or A3 8p donor I know the fwd diff needs changing to a AWD one to accept the angle drive but can I use a diff from a manual car in the dsg box?

Valve cover would look good white, and the mani going black will be a good contrast, not red personally i think it would be too much red the whole engine bay is red already, so for me black and white or nardo and black, best combo for sure nardo cover and black mani, car looking good keep it up🔥💪
