These cars are so cool, especially yours! I’ve got an American focus that I’m speccing out to be a sort of Zetec S impostor, because the American focus just doesn’t look the greatest. I will admit of course mine will never be as cool as yours, such an awesome car and a lot of hard work put into it

Ztec is one of there best engines had a mk2 for years did 250,00 miles until I got a mk3 yours is looking nice I like what you have done ✔️

I had a zetec mk1 then titanium mk2 now I just bought a mk3 titanium x and it's great. Problem I have found is rear lights and front cost a fortune.

Very nice,I’ve got a Ford focus 1lt eco boost nd I had the mapped and now it it’s running 145bhp and 240nm torque. Brought the rs air box and plus wind deflectors and also had the windows tinted now im just debating what exhaust have 😂

The front grill of the regular focus will always beat the grill on the 13/14 st. Just replaced the bars with mesh and it’ll look sick

This is beautiful! I have a Zetec S. Contemplated getting it remapped and doing some work on it. It's looking a bit drab these days. Did you pay to get it dechromed? Or did you do it yourself? Mine a black focus. So think it's gonna be insanely dark once done.

Cover the battery and air intake. Don’t use too high pressure when rinsing and just go for it. 😊

Hey Chris, it’s not too bad to replace. Remove the silicone pipe clamps and slide it off the resonator, undo the 2 screws holding the resonator on and swap them over! 🤞🏼

Hey, I have loved watching your vids! I have just picked up a white zetec S FSH it's perfect apart from the drive home it seemed like it didn't want to downshift into 2nd 70% of the time. What is the mount upgrade I've heard about but never found anywhere? Can you shed some light on what it is and where I can one?

Hi mate, glad to hear you're in a Zetec S! I'm not sure about that issue you're having but I think what you have heard is the gearbox mount (dog bone). Most people upgrade these to reduce how much the engine moves under acceleration/deceleration. I haven't done that and just replaced mine due to it causing a knock. 😁

@@xiolage thankyou for your response :) hmm maybe it is still my issue then, as if It will change into 2nd smoothly depending on my speed and direction of turning maybe it's moving in such a way it's making the link harder to engage its not hard to get into gear it's like the gear sometimes doesn't exist there, just speculation lol. But regardless I love the car and I want to do subtle changes to make it stand out from the rest, I love what you've done thanks again!

Hi dude, quick question i brought the autobeam led dipped beam and resistors install them turn the car to acc and they work i start the engine they turn off and dipped beam fault 😢 im thinking im gunna have to change some settings in forescan but any ideas thanks

Hi mate, yeah this sounds like you need to change the setting in FORSCAN. If you don't fancy doing that then you will need some LED resistors that resist more voltage to trick the system. Hope this helps. 😁

I’d always recommend a remap. If you haven’t done this yet, prepare to have your mind blown. 🤯

I’d start with just the remap. I got the map tweaked after changing the filter and charge pipes and only saw 2 more bhp so really not that drastic. If you’re changing the turbo you’ll have to change the clutch etc as the torque will be through the roof. 😅

I have a question about your LED lights. I've got a 13 plate Focus ST, as we know - the standard bulbs are shite! Did you need to use any software to use the LED's at all? I previously bought some HID's off CEUK and they didnt end up working - they kindly even sent a second test Canbus system to see if that would resolve it, but the car just kept saying "Dipped beam fault" Will this be the same with the LED's? I just want some decent headlights!😅

Hi Tom, you can either buy some LED resistors for your headlights or you can code the CANBUS system to not detect faults with the bulbs. Both are really quick and easy to do. 😁

Currently got a 2012 zetec s. It’s very much all stock, but would like to know what I would probably need to change/upgrade in terms of parts, if I wanted to do a remap. I want the car to run smoothly when I get the remap done but don’t want to spend loads of money…

Hi mate I have 1.0 ecoboost. I am not sure if i should do the same engine mods you have. As you know its a ahsit engine with many probelems I dont want it to blow up or tear out faster than usual just for some turbo pipes. My car is 100k miles.

I’d recommend changing some of the pipes for silicone but at 100k performance mods like a remap etc may not help with longevity. 😊

I did watch the old exhaust video. You mention that is 3” Is that 3” pipe from the dpf to the back/end or 3” only back section and silencer delete straight standard pipe ?

I’ve had the silencer removed and back box made up from 3”. Not sure how wide the stock system from DPF back is. 😊

question, why spend so much money trying to make your car look like an st when you could spend a little more than you have and get a proper st? came here to look for ideas for my st lmao

Understandable. I bought the car as a cheap daily and added bits over the years that I really liked. Looking back I probably should’ve bought and ST but in all honestly I’ve had a blast along the way and that’s all that matters. 😁
