You guys wanted to see it so here it is! VR battle between the cars at the house and I had a great time making this video! Let me know which car you thought sounded the best!

I want a 5 pot turbo audi quattro but at 7-50k I'll never have one. But the vr5 engine will bolt onto a vr6 4motion gearbox, so I'm looking at getting a vr6 4 motion swapping the vr5 into it and adding a turbo. I think I can do it all for 4-5k max

I would keep the vr5 in the 4motion golf. Pretty rare setup these days. And that unique sound the vr5 makes 😍 Great sleeper 👌

1. For revving and Cruising low to mid/high rpm - Miley for damn sure! 2. R32 for that under the radar and crazy crispy loud for when you decide to floor it. 3. V5 for the unique sound of inbetween 4 and 6 cylinders, ringing its neck, red line all the time!

@@jpjansevanrensburg5752 noup, bouth are from the same family (vr6) but when Anesu refers to vr6 is the model, since gen3 vr6 golfs were called just "VR6" that engine was the first vr6 generation and it was 2.8 Lts. Second generation was present in gen 4 golf, 1st Audi a3, new beetle and even in the Eurovan... This was 3.2 Lts. that's why g4 golf was called R32 instead of VR6. Then there's the last gen of vr6s the 3.6 found in Passat, CC, Superb and even Porsche Cayenne. All VR6 family, but not all the same engine, and it's not only displacement what changes, there's valve timing, narrowing in the v angle, injection management...

Mk3 has the best sounding setup imo, but the Vr5 is close. It's hard to beat one of the best sounding 6 cylinders ever made though.

Went through 3 or 4 exhausts setups on my R32. Finally just went custom and did my own thing.. in the end it was my favorite exhaust after having different variations of the stock exhaust magna flow and eip

They all sound sooooo good 😍😅 how do you even choose... This was a really good vlog🙌 Who wouldnt love to watch this and hear those sounds! One needs a supercharger and the another needs a turbo then you will have one of each type🤘😂 But again which one would you turbo, which would you supercharge? And what would be the O.G that you would leave with natural sounds..🤷🏻‍♂️ tough choices right there.

I miss my ‘98 Jetta GLX VR6 to this day. Horrendously unreliable but so much fun to drive. I wish I never sold it.

Hello, I got a 1999 Golf 4 v5 2 valve 5speed in very good shape. I am stationed in Germersheim Army Depot Germany close to Ramstein aprox 90km. I also use the Ramstein junkyard on base also.

bought an old full option seat toledo with the vr5 aqn in it, took me about 2 months to get a full guerilla stainless catback exhaust. got pulled over with 126db tho so i had to add another simons resonator in the middle xD since i got it i already put almost 60k on it in 1,5 year :D

The vr6 sounds the best period. The one I owned back in the day was so loud that my passengers had to shout to communicate with me or the people on their phones. You wouldn't have the r32 today without the OG tripple o G vr6 opening the door for the r32 dont get me wrong r32 sounds nice . Vr6 just has that animal sound to it🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥🔥💚💚💚 nice video dude

You need to keep the awd 5 cylinders and put a big turbo on that instead of trying to put that in that 4 cylinder.

@@nvl2691 i'd go with the 2.3 VR5, sounds better than the 2.8 v6 imo, uses less fuel, cheaper maintenance, cheaper insurance, road tax etc.
