Respect to that guy always wanted to do this to my Bolf not as fun on track and the golf gets alot more heavier and I love the track so I'd need an S3 8L donor car 1st I'd do my own welding thank got 7k 😭😥

I have a 2001 gti and I want to do the awd swap so bad, alr swapped in a 1.8t bc mine came with a 2.0 stock and it was too slow

In some regions you could just buy a 4motion with 1.8t from factory, some regions didn't get 4motion gtis however and only the r32 is awd in those regions

If you respect the vr6 you dont do that... The only swap you can do in a 4 motion imho is a 2.8 out r32 in swap...

@@JakeRawSon as of now 2.0 ABA with the mk2 8 v head big port probably doing porting and maybe high compression pistons but I'm trying to get the boys to turbo it but we'll see I think it's just going to be like try something okay try something else kinda thing

Speaking of badges... As Fans of performance VWs usually love our badges. Front and back, with the same font. The new R badge is terrible....it shows no continuity with all the past badges, a different font that looks dumb imo. I wish they would have kept the same font.

Shows you needs to learn to weld. Or at least shop around and get exact quote. I'd rather take welding classes rather than pay $7k to $10k for a ripp off weld shop that quotes 1 day then 2 weeks later a 10k bill. There are now online kits that will exactly show how to convert a vw to awd with factory parts. Again look up what you're try to do 1st before just slapping money down foolishly
