I should have included the fluids I used for this service: Haldex Service: Audi VW Haldex Fluid VAG-G060175A2 (850 ML) Differential Fluid: Liqui Moly 75W90 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil - LM2048 (1 Liter / per differential) Torque Specs: Haldex - Fill plug - 15Nm, Drain plug - 32Nm, Pump bolts - 9.5Nm. I'll update this comment with any additional helpful comments from viewers.

It's not too bad at all. Once you get the fluid filling steramlined, it goes very smoothly.

Good video, you need to get a little tripod to hold your phone, that helps a lot. I changed dsg today and then was going to do front diff but then the angle of the fill plug is just too much of a pain. I'll get it next oil change. Keep up the videos! Good stuff.

Great video and information you provided. Did you consider cleaning the screen on the Haldex pump? Also, do you have any torque specs for the bolts?

I did, but figured I'd save it for the next go around. I didn't pick up any replacement o-rings for the pump, so didn't want to risk pulling it out and having new rings to ensure a good seal.

@@DadWagon I think that's safe, I took mine out for the first time around 55k and the screen was super clean; others have had clogged screens at way lower miles, so I was a bit surprised as I drive spiritedly. Didn't end up using new o-rings or bolts and haven't had any leaks, but will end up replacing them the next time around.

@@DadWagon Here are the torque specs for the Haldex system: Fill plug - 15Nm, Drain plug - 32Nm, Pump bolts - 9.5Nm. I have no idea about the front and rear diff plugs though

Is the step on the Haldex fluid about "starting" the car and checking the temperature necessary? And do you mean start or just turn on? Does the fluid warm up just from the ignition being on? I would think if the car has been sitting at an ambient temp ATLEAST 20*C and the fluid you are pumping in is ATLEAST 20*C then you are good. No?

Is it necessary - I’m no VW engineer, but they seem to think so as it’s part of the instructions. And I mean fully turning it on so the Haldex pump fills and primes. Would I think ambient temperature is good enough - maybe. Would I trust it without checking… probably not.

How many bottles for the differential? One bottle for the front and another for the rear sufficient?

Thank you for the help. The dealer wants about $400 for manual transmission fluid change, and $200 for each differential. I'm motivated saving some dollars and doing these on my own with 2019 Alltack. Thank you again!
