Taking photos with an iPad is very grandpa vibe, but it’s actually fantastic for those who work in the field, surveyors, construction administrators, etc. to be able to take photos on the device they are taking notes or making comments on

Exactly the reason I can find myself using the camera. Taking photos instead of taking notes (and with LiDAR, also record the length), rather than to shoot travel photos on.

I am unsure why Marques refuses to believe there are professionals who use those cameras. He's a guy who makes videos, so he should be aware that filmmakers use ipads on set to set up frames and do rehearsals before they bring in the heavy cameras.

Functionality wise I say the same thing to customers. Apple IS protecting Mac sales from iPad. If you could install illustrator or autocad, etc. on an iPad, Mac sales would drop

The iPad Pro should be like the Surface Pro X, running a full desktop OS on a tablet form factor with a high end ARM chip. Running iPad OS just limits the capabilities of the M1 chip.

@@shengkaihe4300 Galaxy Tab is a better Netflix machine than the iPad Pro. That aspect ratio is not meant for videos. If you want to watch Netflix, buy a Galaxy Tab.
