I was wondering why the hell replacing 2 speakers required a 24 minute video at the start, now I feel bad about it, you made a spectacular job. Insane work and dedication.

Back in the day I had an 84 Supra from 90 to 94, same light blue color but automatic and the stock stereo system even with equalizer was not sounding very good. This all brings back great memories with my Supra!

That sheet metal reinforcement on the back of the trim really helps my 83 Celica doesn't have it which makes it quite easy to crack parts. Thanks for the video

Sure. I'll give it a shot. I've already done the swap a while back, however I didn't seal off the entire speaker so its good to revisit this.

Nice upgrade but I'm going to stick with my replacement three and half-inch speakers as OEM parts for MKII Supras are virtually impossible to find if you break anything:)

i am going to dig into it and see in i can make a box out soon to speaker in front.i.use gasket maker rtv harbor freight stuff is made in usa by the big boys now that all other brand how dubbed in Ze price i buy it n it works great as hole filler ant rattle and one can pull it back apart in future i use it a lot...try using that design sealed with speaker in front of tube so it has a sound chamber sealed back as to me it`s backwards ..much love be blessed man

John you are so in tune with working on your baby. How do you remove the dash pad and replace due to cracks?

I've removed a few dash. Never attempted to repair it. I've only placed a pad so it covers the cracks.

Yes. If it isn’t already removed. Remove the lowest trim right above the passengers foot.

How does the CT Sounds 4 inch speaker sound compared to the Fockford Fosgate? Also PVC vs the wrap method?

Didn't install the CT sounds in the car. Also didn't install the wrapped version. Anything will sound better than stock.

@@johnsneverendinglistofrand1377 yes I've had Toyotas since early 80s and their weak point is the stereo system back then. If you upgrade the speakers only it sounds better but with that double DIN unit you have it ought of Kick-Ass!
