I really appreciated that the commentators emphasized that the disconnect rules would be up to the TOs so players don't have to worry about how fans would react if they choose to take the stock or not

I appreciate that too. I get why you would want to leave it in the hands of players because if they don't care, no big deal but it also puts them in a potentially awkward position so it is best in my opinion just to enforce it

The TOs made the decision to follow the rules and take the stock in game 3, which is how it should be done. Having any level of input from the opposing player to waive a ruling that should go in their favor inevitably puts undue pressure on them and distorts things (both in the moment and after the fact)

it was nice to see Leo back on top, but as someone who was cheering for Raflow I can't help but feel that that one crucial stock shifted the result of the game and eventually the set
