Because MKMF a few years ago using a jury voting not voting fan or social media. So the awards are so valuable that big bang was deeply moved. I LOVE YOU BIGBANG!!!

+Ken Kaneki LOL they had the best new group award in 2006 too.They were also the best male group in 2007 and then the next year from this they had artist of the year and best male group and then they released last farewell and topped all charts for 8 weeks straight and broke their own record and then in 2009 Gd's album was the album of the year and 2010 Tae was the best male artist of the year.They certainly maintained a presence since the very start.

What surprises me is that they never won a prize as best rockie, but in the first year of their debut they had already won a daesang and better male group (prizes that would be given to groups with more trajectory). 😍😊♥️

*DAESANG, anyways back then there were juries/ or some sort of committee that facilitates which artist will get the awards. So, it was really a big deal back then. If i'm not mistaken, nowadays its more of the fan voting.

You cannot just compare the hardships these 5 guys went through to get to where they are now. That's why I will always be so proud and stay loyal to them. Thanks to their hardships and success the younger ones were trained and debuted the way they did recently. 10th Year anniversary jjang~

JM- MJ they are always proud of GD. He’s a national treasure, Koreans put a lot of dirts on Bigbang’s name, created fake accusations. Yet, they always come back listening to their music, they are currently the second searched group so far in 2020 and they’ve been on a 4 year hiatus. That’s the power of Bigbang, they always got controversies around every year since their debut, but their influence and popularity never went down. Every Bigbang member is probably too fed up with the disgusting Kmedia and Knetizens, Korea does not DESERVE them at all!!!

What a genuine reaction of Daesung. These Korean Pop groups work so hard to bring us joy and laughter. I remember in 10,000 where the member of wonder girls fell asleep while her makeup was put on. Congratulations Big Bang.

BIGBANG won EPIK HIGH in 2007 (song of the year) and in 2008 he won DBSK (artist of the year). They won to these two great groups and of trajectory, and it was not by popularity / vote of the fanatics (since the rockies are at the moment is very popular) but by the vote of a jury. This really was a great prize. If you realize before mastering another genre, if we compare all the nominations, there is a noticeable difference between the BIGBANG song and the others. You really have to believe that before and after BIGBANG there was a big change. BIGBANG made great changes in the KPOP. This group is already legendary. This group did not have a successful debut, but they fought and a year later they managed to obtain great prizes surpassing the great artists of the time.

This is what succesful debut means. How would a 4 months rookie, for two consecutive years (2007-2008) shook the Korean Music Entertainment with their music? Since BB didn't win ROTY for their first 4 months in 2006 was normal for debut group from average company (YG still average company at that time) and they need to doubled the effort since no media social to support their promotions at the first place and the stigma they got in national tv because the beauty standard for idol. But in 2007, impressively the table was turned, BIG BANG swept their first win in music show. How come a 4 months rookie who was nobody and looking down by everyone, could rule 2007 and bagged Daesang and Bonsang at the same year? Not to mention they bagged the 2008 Daesang and BMG award too.

this song is most memoraidolle to all the kpop history... this song is full of emotional feelings hidden in every notes wanna know why??? this song is written and produced only g dragon alone.. this song is meant for g dragon solo... he was angry to papa yg when yg decide that this song is for group... bigbang member do their best to prove to g dragon that the song is better when they sang it together gdragon admitted this to their one of their concert that lies is better to be sang with his group a boy group that nothing have an it to be a kpopstar won a song of the year a year after a debut daessung never gave him his father blessing to be a kpop idol so daesung cried out loud proving that their choice are worth it... and we all know KPOP KINGS BIGBANG is IMMORTALITY because of this song that changes kpop to face the world

Personally, I think the remarkable transformations of Bigbang are those these songs: Lies - blew them up in Korea Haru Haru - blew them up in Asi Fantastic Baby - introducing themselves to the world Bang Bang Bang - legends, god level

not just that. their success journey was not that easy. before lies they really had a hard time. right after their debut people call them as hip hop wannabe and the ugliest idol. during that time idol usually lip sync during tv show but big bang insist to sing live so there were many times daesung singing off key in a live show because of his throat problem so they were being criticized a lot.
