Hey guys, how's it going?
I recorded this video and made a post commentary fairly quickly to try to show some progress on updating this and showing some more ideas coming out on it. Part of it is to rebuild and reshow the monster in me some more and see if I can build that aspect up all the way and control my inner strength on making these tracks the right way.
For stuff I need to finish, I want to add a lightmap, fix up a lot of various collision, fix some model holes I noticed, fix a small bit of z-fighting, match up all the kmp objects again and the rest of the checkpoints and make a new minimap. I also want to add some visual concepts I was plotting in my brain and need to put to practice. If I want to do better, I need to make as many ideas that I have as possible that seem valuable come to life. It seems really important. The other major thing I want to improve on majorly is visuals, since people in the community tend to play with their eyes very first and foremost, and that's likely one of the last major barriers I need to smash through lately.
For changes I improved visuals further, generally used most of the response I got for the track originally, tried to improve various collision bits, shortened different sections of the track, opened up others and made some walls less strict, improved some textures, made some things proper models instead of just singular texture planes, added some fog effects and general lighting effects and just tried to polish what I had in the versions earlier. Hopefully it rounds off a lot when I get everything together and makes this a great track 😁
I plan to make a lot more tracks soon, and I'm going to do them more quietly, distanced from CTGP or the main community. Follow along if you enjoy the tracks, and they'll likely be in many other smaller packs. I want to work with some people on a few bigger community projects coming soon, one of which is in the works and I think will be pretty fun to accomplish, if I can pull off some necessary stuff for it. I think the project is being led well so far, and I'll help where needed if it's in my capacity.

This video was essentially just to show more and to prove I'm not dead, and I'll continue to do more for it, in-between work and school, and any other life obligation that comes up. There'll be a lot of in-progress videos as I go through making and possibly some content revolving around playing the game, if I can manage to get any better at it in the future lmfao.
