At 1:02:57, see Nolan Ryan deliver Len Dykstra a bow tie pitch. That happened because in Game 1, Dykstra was considered being a little too demonstrative after getting a hit. Ryan watched this in the dugout and nudged a teammate and said 'That boy just asked for a bow tie.'. He got that phrase from Satchel Paige, who when asked by Ryan that meant, told him it was a pitch that was aimed at where a person ties their bow tie. In other words, the batter was going down on the next pitch.

I remember Ryan as a Met. Worst trade in Met history - Ryan for Fregosi.

Imo Ryan was over rated,he reminds me of LeBron James......great when nothing is at stake......but chokes when his team needs him most.

Nolan Ryan got no run support in his 2 outings in this series although the Astros got robbed in the 2nd inning of Game 5. Still he was one of the best pitchers ever.
