I agree with you that when Adrian didn’t know that marinette is ladybug he always called marinette is just a friend. It’s clear that he likes marinette because she is ladybug. But he always says that he likes ladybug because of her kindness but he never saw her kindness as merinette. Like how a man can be so blind 🙄😒

That's not true. Marinette is ladybug! Marinette is how she would act if she wasn't shy around Adrien her crush! So Adrien fell in love with marinette as her true self ! If anything Marinette has to fall in love with the real Adrien! Cause the real Adrien is chatnoir when Adrien isn't sad of home stuff He's free when he's chat

this is the same reasonnnn why Adrien loved Kagami! Kagami is the mirror of ladybug, he thought of ladybug when he is with kagami, since she was a mirror of Ladybug(Kagami in Japanese is Mirror, now you know her role). I am also thinking that Adrien would only love Mari since she is ladybug, if s4 and s5 won't show Adrien falling for Marinette only, I would be having a hard time believing in Adrinette
