I’d like to see umpires suspended/loss of pay/ fired for egregious bad calls. I’m not a sports bettor, but imagine how much money is lost, games are swayed due to flagrant bad calls that alter the course of the games. It’s absurd these guys can still be employed with the low level of call accuracy they make.

I wish I was good at baseball so I could play in the league for a few years, live very basic, make a few million then wait for my time to punch him. Yeah, I wouldn't be in the league anymore and probably some other repercussions, but it would be worth it. The other players would greatly appreciate it. Joe West and Angel Hernandez retiring is good for baseball. Honestly. They ruined almost every game they were in. They were more interested in making a spectacle of themselves rather then doing their job. I think they were both ego maniacs more concerned about getting their name in the paper and on Sportscenter rather then do their job properly. So many of thse calls were so bad, it appeared on purpose just to invoke a reaction they knew they'd get.
