I'm an astros fan and I swear this series took years off my life. I thought this gave was nerve racking and high stress, little did I know, looming around the corner was game 5. This game gets overlooked by game 5 the way WWI gets overlooked by WWII

To me, this one hurt a lot more than Game 5. Not because of the cheating stuff, but the fact that LA had the game in hand and let it slip away. Especially when Dave went to his bullpen one too many times. Like wasting Ross Stripling when he was still inaccurate.

I mean you really can't blame any of the dodgers. They were literally cheated out of the game/series/ring. Could the dodgers have done a better job? Sure but can you blame them when they were so close to beating the cheaters? No.

This was a truly great game. It’s a shame it gets overshadowed by game 5 but that was possibly the greatest game ever so it’s understandable.

This game makes me so mad. Us dodgers fans can make all the excuses about cheating we want, but we had this game in the bag. If we wouldn’t have blown it, we win this series in 6 games.

I'm die hard for my Dodgers but we absolutely blew this game. Even with the stuff in Houston with this win we win the World Series on our home field in Game 6.

There is also the element of the Cubs coming back down 3-1 to win their first series in over 100 years. 2011 Games 1, 2, and 5 were also all close and exciting. Plus even in game 3s blow out, your still got to see Pujols 3 homer game. And of course game 6 just makes it Amazing. And depending on how old you are, 2001 and 1991 were the best WS of all time.

It’s possible the Dodgers cheated, but it’s pretty improbable they used the exact same signal as the Astros.

The disparity in the amount of hits between the teams is also pretty interesting. 14 for Astros and 5 for Dodgers.

@@bryson1482 you obviously didn’t see game 5. Kershaw threw 58 breaking pitches, and got ZERO swings and misses. ZERO. That’s when I knew something was up. And if you look at all their long balls, they were pulled to their respective fields. Also gave it away

That's the thing. I want to believe Astros were already a contending team with their talent and depth. But the cheating scandal of 2017 really put a big dent on their careers. Sad for baseball.

@@dh381 you do realize the cheating didn’t benefit them as much as people say it did. They were a better road team, I’m pretty sure they started cheating because everyone else was. They weren’t even cheating pre 2017, apparently video replay rooms go back as far as the royals 2015 team so that’s the earliest people know of.
