Love the barehand focus on one spot. The inside of the index knuckle. I’ve started putting a band aid on that spot to help the players on focusing. Call it the band aid drill.

wao amigo, muy buenas enseñanzas. No había visto el aspecto de los roletazos de botes cortos, intermedio y largo. Realmente el intermedio es el mas difícil de controlar porque no sabes si la pelota se va a levantar o arrastrar... Por ello hay que buscar en el desplazamiento de los pies meterse en el bote corto, o el largo, donde hay mas posibilidades de agarrar el roletazo con comodidad... Entendí bien?

i’m 16 years old and i played baseball pretty much my whole life but i got injured in 8th grade and i quit. I’m trying to get back into the game and make my high school team but it seems like everyone else has grown to a new level since last time i played and i’m really rusty. Do you think i can still make the team just working out on my own in the off season?

My advice from someone who didn't try out for the team in highschool and wanted too...whatever your skill level is currently, just try out anyways or you will regret it. Get a friend to help. Someone to hit hard ground balls at you and someone you can throw the ball with hard and fast. Most important is to show off your defense skills and the batting will hopefully progress as u become more comfortable with the new skill level.
