@@Roman-kl3wk Michael Morse hit a homerun, but the Umpire originally called it in play and that he was out at the first base, so after review they realised it was actually a homerun and made him touch all the plates to complete the run, but also made him swing the bat I guess just to make sure all the motions were followed (???) Idk about that part. They just wanted him to touch all the bases for the homerun to count.

Yo legit, some of these "oddities" are what make baseball so fun to watch. Like how there's always the possibility of something you never seen before happen in a game, because of the nature of the sport being so "odd", where the game is always frozen until you put the ball in play, therefore there's so many intricacies that can come up to surprise you in a game. It's crazy to think that a sport that's being played for over a century can still surprise you with something new every game. This is why I think that sport it's the best one created by men, no kidding. I love baseball.

What the hell is that damn game anyway. I didn't grow up in America and i don't get anything. I have seen several baseball videos now and I still don't understand any of the rules. Why do they start to play catch all of the sudden? Why does the guy with the bat wear head protection and the guy throwing the ball, who (i'd think) is way more in danger because he is directly in front of the bat guy, not? Why are the spectators not protected? In football (or as you call it: soccer) the organizers are worried about the well being of the spectators eventhough the ball is a very light one and in baseball, where the ball is hard as a brick, the spectators seem completely unprotected. This game is a mystery to me.

I am from germany and i don't know a single soul that watches american football, basketball or baseball regularly. But in europe (and almost every other place on earth) people go crazy for soccer instead.

vjm3, MLB now has a rule because of this. An ambidextrous pitcher must declare if he is going to pitch right or left handed, and cannot change during the at bat. The batter then chooses his side.

I was at that Rangers game when that lightning struck, my dad and I were 1/4 of the way up on the 3rd base line and the lightning struck the lighting right above us. It was deafening, and right after that lightning struck it started raining, and there was like a 45 minute-1 hour delay.

Thanks for this videos EXE, I'm from Mexico, my grandfather loved Baseball and i watched a lot of games because of him, I was always sittin' next to him and in front of a TV to enjoy every game and he teach me how to love this ball game, 5 years ago i lost him, but when I see videos like this, he return to my mind and my heart.
