@@Jacob-es5tv We don't fail to realize. I'm a Pats fan. The difference is that the Pats were stealing signals the same way as everyone else but got caught. So the league made an example of them. The Astros got caught stealing signals in a way that everyone knew was wrong but yet they persisted and never apologized for. They flat out openly and defiantly broke multiple rules that led to instant success because no one else was brazen enough to do.

If it's a walkoff, in the playoffs, or just absolutely ridiculous distance I totally understand admiring your work. The Tim Anderson homer at the beginning of this makes no sense as to why he'd go nuts over it. It's the 4th inning (of a 0-0 ballgame) in April or May...and it's not like he hit it out of the stadium or anything either. Dude acted like he hit the ball 500 feet in the 9th inning of a 8-8 ballgame in the playoffs.

0:54 Can hear the rising whistle in the background, likely alerting Bregman to the fastball.

I’m a pitcher and while it’s a little annoying when bat flips are done excessively, I don’t really care. Sure I’m competitive and don’t like giving up homers, but if you hit an absolute monster flip your bat however you want. You earned it. I’ve done it. My league doesn’t have a DH so when I bat, which I’m pretty good at despite being a pitcher, I enjoy it. When I hit a screamer down the left field line I pimped that shit so much I pulled a muscle. Then the other pitcher did the same when he hit a bomb in the 7th and we had a laugh about it after the game. No point getting pissed about something so small
