Appreciate the Research on Umpire Strikeouts , i was thinking more in terms of player prop pitcher strikeouts but totals is also interesting, although i am still not certain exactly where you go, what site or source to go to find out who is going to be officiating a game

Try Rotowire and click “Lineups” It will tell you who is Officiating along with small weather visuals

The umpires will move counter-clockwise in series, meaning the first base umpire will take home plate the night after. Swishanalystics seems to be a good site for umpire info. You won't know the home plate umpire for a new series until 1-3 hours prior.

Dana, what is the break even point on underdogs on the alt runline -1.5 for two even teams. Let’s say a +100 underdog. My guestimation is it’s about +165 to +180 for the road team and about +225 or more for a home dog around +100. I like to take road dogs on the alt/reverse line so I’d like the know the break even point for basically two even teams playing each other. Road and home underdogs. Thanks in advance.

⁠@@danalane6922Yes. I’m looking for a baseline. For example: If there’s a +120 (road team) underdog, and the alt line is +185, which is the better ev bet? I prefer taking the road team on the alt moneyline. Or even the home underdog team- if I know the break even point is +225, and I’m getting +250. I’m looking understand what is more profitable. Underdog moneyline or underdog alt line/reverse moneyline -1.5.

I bet SF today on the alt run line. It was +255. I bet it because my break even point on two even teams is around +165 on the alt line for a road team. Cleveland is obviously better than SF, with a better pitcher, but +255 seemed like too much for an alt run line for a visiting team. Even iff Cleveland was the better team. So I bet it. I won but I’m not sure the alt line was a better ev bet than the +165 I would have got just betting them on the moneyline.

@@abraxashicks I tend to stay away from the alt lines because they’re not designed to make more money for the players. I am glad you won. Thats a nice winner.
