Those fair balls down the line, sometimes it takes the outfielder a while to catch up to. When that happens, the runners can sometimes pick up more than one base or even score. But if a fan touches the fair ball, then all the runners are only allowed one base. The hitter is held to a ground rule double, and the fan's interference can cost the team, that's why the kid was crying. He realized he cost his team.

Pretty sure they let the kid slide because he was a kid, and he obviously felt really bad. The adults get no mercy.

9:13 The guy with the leaves is dress up as the vines that are against the brick outfield walls at Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs are playing at home.

I didn’t have a favorite team for a long time but I like the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago Cubs. I like teams that have a long history. Sometimes I’ll root for other teams during the playoffs if none of mine are in there.

Yes when a player calls for fan interference get kicked out I dont know when the rule took affect.

The first video the guy walks up to the couple because she has her phone out, and I believe she may have the flash on. That will likely be the pitcher being distracted by the flash. So, they probably asked not to use the flash.
