I love that a modern ballpark had at one time a challenge like Tal's hill that basically made every ball hit thereon a triple or home run inside the park...or a tremendous catch. Why take it away from us? If anything, make the hill a more gradual approach so ankles arent hurt

Because an incline is still just going to do nothing but risk more injuries, and it makes center field homeruns rediculously difficult.

Designer 1: We need something unique for this park. Designer 2: Like what? Designer 1: The Yankees have statues. The Rockies have trees and home-run fountains. The Giants have a freakin' cove. Designer 2: How about a hil? Designer 1: A hill? Designer 2: Yep. Out in Center field. No one else has one. Designer 1: That's genius, utter genius. Designer 2: Right in the center of the outfield, 30 or 40 feet tall. Designer 1: I love it. I love it. Designer 2: If they don't let us do that, we'll stick it against the wall.

I remember Michael Bourn robbing a Cubs player with a diving catch on the hill. I remember it specifically when I was eating in a bar in Chicago.

Obama Rocks I was replying to DeNick. He said all the other catches were just like Trout's. They weren't. Trout's catch was indeed just him making a routine catch and then running up the hill. The others were 10x more difficult.
