Whenever the Blue Jays are in Jeopardy of falling out of a Wildcard spot, it's almost like they can flip a switch & all of a sudden get the offense rolling again... Springer snaps out of his slump going 4 for 4 today, & new Jays player Schneider who blasted a homerun Friday goes 3 for 3 with 1BB... You wouldn't even know the Jays have been struggling against the Red Sox all season with the way they've been beating up on Boston in this series... Blue Jays go for the Sweep on Sunday...

They're not exactly beating up on Boston nor are any gods smiling yet. What is apalling is the fact that a rookie is batting better than Guerrero ,in this series, who continues to fail in the clutch. He keeps nodding his head as if to say he has things figured out and yet the failures go on and on. He has to ne dropped down the top five for now. He wants to hit a home run every at bat. He has to realize that it's not John Schneider feeding him bp fastballs at the homerun derby. The thing is if you don't have a legit number 3 or cleanup hitter, your offensive woes will continue. Another thing, Swanson should not be closing. Why do you bring a true closer to use him as setup?

Third base coach was pointing to the guy on first base wanting him to get closer to second in case the ball went off the wall so he could have the winning run on third. The runner on second's job is to go halfway between second and third so if the ball went off the wall he'd still score, but if it was caught he'd still be able to get back to second.

Not necessarily. The problem with the coach was that his gestures were unclear. It's hard to tell if he was waving the runner (using only his hand and not his outstretched arm) or what he was actually doing. The runner was celebrating (what he thought was a HR?) before he was halfway to third, so was he even paying attention to the third base coach? You would think that if a coach is sending you, you'd be running a little faster than a slow trot.

He's incredibly over rated lol, his approach at the plate is so poor. When he hit into the double play he took one of the hardest swings I have ever seen on a 3-1 pitch...just hit a fly ball and score a run to add insurance...didn't need 4 runs. Instead another double play. He was good a couple years ago and now the league knows how to pitch to him

For once a move by Schneider pays off. He brought in Kiermaier who drives in the eventual winning run. Then he ends the game with a double play that only a few fielders could pull off.
