Enough with the Stanton hate. Just because he gets into a slow groove every year doesn’t mean he eventually won’t come around. The guy works hard and never complains when the fans are giving him a hard time. He’s a great player.

I think some of the injuries is age of course, he’s 34 now.. the big thing I think is how strong he is, I think when you’re that big and strong it’s more of a strain on the body to play everyday. Someone built more like Corbin Carroll will have fewer injuries just due to how strong this guy is. He’s also been doing it for a minute

Say what you want Stanton has always been streaky but when he gets hot LOOK OUT. That ball was absolutely decimated. Impressive.

As bad as he gets when he's bad, when he's hot, I don't know if there's that many as dangerous as him. He gets in these streaks where he will have a dozen or more RBI over a 3-4 game stretch. But then he also has streaks where he strikes out a dozen times in a few games.

Stanton HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MAN since day one. The fake Yankees fans who ALWAYS criticize him doesn't know baseball. He is a streaky power hitter.... this is what he does..... this is why we pay him $29M a year... so he can hit HRs and Grand Slams. That's his job.... he's gonna strike out like every other player in MLB.... deal with it. I cant wait until he does this to win the ALDS, ALCS, and World Series.... He's a great player and a potential HOF. (and thoughts and prayers to the fans who missed it while waiting in line for food and bathroom breaks)😂😂😂😂😂

True.Pitchers know if you make a mistake, say goodbye to that ball. A hitter with his power is not going to get good pitches to hit, but a lot of outside pitches. I wouldn't want to be a pitcher when he comes to the plate, i would fear for my life.

This is why the Yanks owned the Astros. Small ball and no quick strikeouts. Patience at the plate. Stanton hung in there long enough to get a pitch and the rest is history. Cole will return soon but they have the luxury to take it easy with him.
