@@Stoner512 The competition is minute in the National League this season. He is almost a guarantee to win it this year. He'll probably have 50s HR and 40 SBs which is another new record in MLB. Even 40 HRs and 40 SBs might be good enough to get it done. There are four in the 40-40 club: Jose Canseco (1988), Barry Bonds (1996), Alex Rodriguez (1998) and Alfonso Soriano (2006).

I loved how they sprinkled in Japanese phrases like 'suwatte kudasai' (sit down, please) and 'itte irashai' (I'm out). Seems they used it in the right context, too.

大谷翔平選手、メモリアル200号、おめでとう！どれも印象深いが、去年ならダブルヘッダーの初完封後の2ホーマーも入ってたし、その後のグランドスラムも何十回再生したことか。何回見ても嬉しい。怪我しなかったらホームラン王はかたいでしょう。ファンなら大谷翔平選手が健康で無事に一年プレーして、ホームラン王だけ取ってくれたら満足です。40/40や打点王、MVP、その他のタイトルは、後から付いてくるご褒美です。

Watching the Angels highlights makes sad. I’m hearing that Moreno said that he didn’t trade Shohei so he could have two more months of making money off of Ohtani and never was going to resign him. This guys has to be lying trying to make like he was always in control. How could angels fans believe this. Angels are not a small market team! if it was true, how can anyone stay a fan with this insane owner that only thinks about his money. People might not realize this but the Angels weren’t a bad team, just a bad rotation. You had 6 years to get a top pitcher while you have two legends on your team! Shohei can’t be your only good starter, he also plays everyday! The key to success with the unicorn is build a 5 man rotation as if he wasn’t there. You can go all out with Shohei as your ace to carry you in the postseason but to only have one good pitcher that plays everyday to carry the team in a 162 game season is insanity
