I'm a Dodger fan, grew up in Maryland and my Mom is originally from Massachusetts. So I have a lot of reasons to dislike the Yankees. But I can't understand how people can say Judge is overrated. In 81 games he's driven 77 RBI, on pace for 154 for the season and his obp is .428 . Besides that he's been red hot for a while. All they have is, well the left pole is 318 feet at Yankee Stadium. I never heard this criticism about Ted Williams, Yastrzemski or Ortiz because they played half their games at Fenway. Btw, 16 of Judge's 30 home runs have been on the road and he's hit a few to right field at Yankee Stadium.

No. It's Gunnar. Look at it. The Yankees were dong just fine when Judge was struggling. Judge has only been good offensively. Gunnar is also doing historic things at the plate, except unlike Judge he's also been top of the pack for fielding and baserunning. I must admit tho, I am a huge orioles fan. But we still beat y'all 17-5. Judge was also complaining when the holes in his swing were exposed. It's not something you want in an MVP. It could just be me being biased, but I think it's gunnar, but I think it will come down to whoever wins the division

@@Billyball35 MVP should be based on stats and stats only, not based on team's performance or comments you make. Both are neck and neck rn imo although I think Gunnar has a slight edge since he's a shortstop. I'm a Yankees fan so I'm also biased towards Judge but I'd have no argument against Gunnar winning MVP if he keeps his pace.

David Morales Money Move Summary: FIRST TO 30 HOMERS! All 30 Homers from Aaron Judge in 2024 Aaron Judge has become the first player in the MLB to reach 30 home runs in the 2024 season, showcasing a series of "money moves" - powerful, game-changing plays that highlight his exceptional talent and strategic approach to hitting. Top Money Moves: Consistent Power Hitting: Money Move: Aaron Judge's ability to consistently hit home runs throughout the season. Impact: Judge’s power at the plate sets a high standard for offensive performance, providing the Yankees with a reliable source of runs. His consistency disrupts opposing pitchers' strategies, forcing them to adapt and often making mistakes. Clutch Performances: Money Move: Several of Judge’s homers came in high-pressure situations, turning the tide in crucial games. Impact: His ability to deliver in clutch moments boosts team morale and can shift game momentum in favor of the Yankees. These timely hits demonstrate his composure and effectiveness under pressure. Adjusting to Pitchers: Money Move: Judge's adaptability in facing different pitching styles and making in-game adjustments. Impact: This adaptability keeps pitchers on their toes, as Judge can adjust his approach based on the situation and the pitcher he’s facing. It showcases his strategic thinking and deep understanding of the game. Influence on Lineup: Money Move: Judge's presence in the lineup impacts how opposing teams pitch to other Yankees batters. Impact: His power threat forces pitchers to carefully consider their approach to the entire lineup, often resulting in better pitches for his teammates. This ripple effect improves overall team performance. Leadership and Inspiration: Money Move: Judge’s leadership on and off the field. Impact: As a team leader, Judge’s success inspires and motivates his teammates. His work ethic and performance set a positive example, fostering a winning mentality throughout the roster. Aaron Judge’s journey to becoming the first player to hit 30 home runs in the 2024 season is a testament to his skill, strategy, and leadership. Each home run not only adds to his impressive personal stats but also significantly contributes to the Yankees' success.

Judge will never be Ohtani, unless he can pitch and win 15 games with a 2.33 ERA. Judge is another Juan Gonzalez or Frank Thomas who can hit home runs, Ohtani has the same power and has supersonic speed (Shohei even beat Judges throw to home and it was a short fly to left field) plus he's an Ace Pitcher. Even majority of MLP players picked Ohtani over Judge done in a recent survey.
