I don’t care what anyone says about the new playoff format. The Phillies deserve to be here. They’ve pulled off upset after upset and proven in 1 year that up to 6 teams can compete in the playoffs.

I grew up in the Philly area. My grandmother watched this team when they played at connie mack stadium. Outside of baseball season, she never cursed. When the game was on, she had the mouth of 20 year old sailor. I was a year old when this team won its 1st world series. My mom took me to the vet when i was 5. My gram and mom both turned me on to this team. They are both gone but if they were alive, they would be losing their minds over the craziness of this season. This team for us is generational

That’s crazy I was born 79 as well so I was also 1 when they won in 1980 and my grandparents were OBSESSED with the Phillies. They told me and my brother so many stories of that 80’s team and my grandmother loved to tell me about the time she met Mike Schmidt. I was at that insane World Series game in 93 when the Phil’s lost 15-14 to the blue jays. Although we lost it was an incredible game. Going to the vet growing up and watching the Phils was my favorite memories as a kid

As a phillies fan, I might be bias, but you have to admit this even if you're not a Phillies fan. Every single player on this ball club deserves to win it all. And we Phillies fans have to thank Rob Thompson, imagine if they never hired this dude. There's something special about him, he really turned this team around. Future manager of the year winner.

Ngl, super super bummed we couldn't finish off the Cinderella run, but I had more fun watching that postseason than any other besides '08. Congrats on the championship though, it was well earned. I'm going to have nightmares of the game 6 Alvarez blast like my dad does about the Joe Carter one in '93.

The PHILLIES did great this year. I can not wait until next year. I have my RH shirt and love it. I am reliving the entire year again. I did not see any of this coming. The PHILLIES get an NL Championship ring. We have another banner to hang. In the World Series the PHILLIES hit home runs 999 and 1,000. How about the free 🌮 our guy stoled two bases and fed everyone. This team was very exciting to watch and did very well brought alot of money into our city. Well Done FIGHTIN 2022 NL CHAMPIONS! 💕

@@crashnburn1987 The Philllies underperformed the entire season because of terrible management. They are not supposed to be bad. They were projected to be much, much better. Same deal with last years Braves and 2019 Nationals. None of them were underdogs because of lack of talent, only because of lack of wins.

I grew up watching the Phillies in the 60s and 70s and 80s and that 93 team I loved the most but this team is the best team I ever seen in Philadelphia. And I believe we have a few more years of them. Thank you PHILLIES

Both Marsh & Syndergarrd , Didn't he say he got traded to a team to compete for the world series? Does he tell the future or what? Marsh was a great pick up , he's gonna be a great CF for us , Next year we don't have to worry about having Herrera or wonder who's gonna be playing in CF. Hopefully Harper get's his elbow fixed and cleared to throw. next years OF should be CF Marsh/Vierling LF Schwarber/Castellanos RF Harper/Castellanos depends on who will DH
