No! He dropped the ball, I cant believe it! What a game back then! I played an entire season, the stats I piled up with Oakland was ridiculous! The Braves were my #2 team with that pitching staff!

As an A's fan, it was lovely having the most OP team in the entire league for video games. Rickey, then Canseco and McGwire was just unfair.

One of my fondest memories involved watching my brother play this game and take advantage of the glitch wherein at the end of an inning, you could make your outfielders meld together to create a sort of three-legged race.

Overall Score: Athletics, 7. Padres, 5. For the Athletics, Jose Canseco hit 2 home runs and 6 RBIs, while Dave Henderson chipped in with 1 RBI. For the Padres, Fred McGriff hit a home run and 2 RBIs, while Tony Gwynn Sr. contributed with 2 RBIs and Ed Whitson (the pitcher) came up with 1 RBI.

I mean it's over 30 years ago. Still looks good to me. I still play Atari 2600 games and they did not age well at all haha. 2d games from NES, Genesis and SNES era still are fun. 30 years ago I had long hair and now I'm bald. Stuff ages haha

They had Mcgwire hitting 7th. Even though it's a game from 1992, how would such a simple thing be wrong? He did have a down year in 1991. Still, I can't imagine they actually had him 7th in the lineup often or ever.

The voice synthesis sounds an awful lot like Starting Lineup Talking Baseball. Even the sentences are identical to that game. I wonder if the devs just bought the chips that were used in SLTB?
