I was a faithful listener and about to make Kevin my first reoccurring paid content provider because the show was just too good not to support. The week I was gonna do it he pulled out in a worldwide pandemic and went pay only. It was really at that point I realized he’s not a hate all genius comic; he is a going nowhere self hater. If he can not do right to himself then he can’t do right by the fans. I returned in the last week and the shows are ok, but tbh I just really hang on every word waiting for Chad to say something funny. You’re both right, it is maddening and just really sad.

I liked some of Bill's early material when he was sleeping on futons. When he got into that whole "flying around in helicopters" phase, I tuned out.

Casual comedy fans probably think Burr > Brennan. Anyone who follows comedy closely will tell you Kevin is a top 3 content creator rn. Burr’s podcast fucking STINKS. If you think that is entertainment then go stare at paint or watch a WNBA game. STIIIINKS.

27:06 Bill is being a brat. He’s so sensitive for a guy who’s been doing comedy for a long as he has. He can dish it out but can’t seem to take the slightest of digs. I think Kevin made a pretty good point, what does he have to rant about when he’s making all that money? I guess he sees Kevin’s shit talking as disrespect..

Unless Bill Burr rants about struggling to pay bills or working a shitty job, the premise of Brennan's question is sort of dumb ("what does he have to rant about when he’s making all that money?"). Money eliminates so many problems, but not everything. For example, death. Only unsuccessful comedians can rant? I think it is projection by Brennan because he is so resentful about not being more successful.
