I was in 10th grade when halo 3 was released. Spent countless hours playing halo 3 big team, mlg 4v4, and so many customs. I miss this days so much. Literally staying up all night every weekend playing halo 3, and then switching to COD4 MW. We had both those games in their prime at the same time. We will never experience something like that ever again. A perfect moment in time before all the ads, social media, and streamers.

Literally 1.8mil people were on at the same time! I remember seeing that counter onscreen like it was yesterday...

+Carl B 343 basically gave the series life tho. Halo 5 currently has the highest average active players since halo 2. It's one of the most successful games in the franchise. Gameplay wise, it's meh. Matchmaking is okay, but the campaign was booty butt cheeks. I don't even like 343, but they did something right, I guess. I'll give her the 10's where they are due.

There will be no anticipation or hype for the next game. 343 just needs to innovate smartly, they just gotta listen to the community. Overall, I miss competitive halo, the community back in the Bungie days and Halo in general but I think 343's next Halo installment will be great. We just gotta "BELIEVE" But in Halo Infinite I want the gameplay to be similar to Halo 3 and bring back old maps like guardian, last resort, pit etc.

You ever play against a person like that? All skill and fun in the game is completely taken out of it. Or of course the people who grab the cloaking armor ability in reach, and grab the sword and hide around a corner, not much skill there either. Or like one guy I knew, who bragged about his "Skill" in Reach, in which his "Skill" was hopping in a tank and blowing my pistol wielding self straight to hell as I tried to blow the cockpit off of the tank to get a shot at him cause he had his cannon watching the spawnpoint of the rocket launcher. Those kinds of people take all of the skill out of the game. So your comment was unnecessarily rude. Wait wait wait... thysaeed...Halo 4 has PERKS?! Are you freaking kidding me? Why is that a thing? The armor abilities are understandable, anyone can have them, so there is no real unfair advantage there. But PERKS, freaking PERKS!! WHY!?

Ok...they are not as bad as I thought they would be. Was about to be more than a little upset. Well, the game sounds like it still has the basic idea of Halo. That being that each time you get into a shoot out, you have to actually think your way out of it. That is why I like Halo over Call of Duty. Call of Duty, it is all about who has the faster trigger finger, and the stronger weapon. All you gotta do really to win in that game is push the trigger a split second faster than your opponent, and you win. Halo, however, each interaction with an enemy is a little challenge of its own, which makes it a lot more fun.

Halo 2 required more skill than 3 lol halo 2 was broken with glitches and the bxr, double shot was a big advantage to players that could master those.

sikander hayat The new graphics are amazing, especially for a 360 game, the only problem is that it feels so far from what Halo is/was. Even Reach felt like a major departure. I want them to keep the upgrade in graphics, but go back to the main trilogy's color pallet. It had the perfect feel.
