Very smooth and solid animation! The humor totally reminds me old Tom & Jerry.

I actually initially passed over this in my subscriptions feed because I thought the thumbnail was simply a screenshot from the show. Absolutely amazing!

This is one of the most commendable fan animations I've seen in a while. Out of all the animations the fandom has produced throughout the years, there are very few that have had the main focus be on visual comedy. And a lot of the people who've tried have failed, either because they don't have an understanding of the basic principles, or they don't know how to properly setup or time a joke. Even some of the better fan animations out there hinge on having dialogue as the main focus, so visual comedy usually takes a back seat in most cases. But that's what strikes me the most about this animation. Properly timing and delivering jokes purely through visuals is a difficult task, and the fact that you managed to pull it off for the most part is very impressive. Even though some of the movements can be a bit sluggish in execution, the structure behind them still follows and respects the basic principles, and the pacing is overall very solid. The amount of times characters go off-model for an extreme facial expression, posture, or movement is something animations in this fandom rarely do, and should be applauded when it's done this well. In terms of gag delivery, the only weak point I can think of is when RD picks up the stick and and distracts AJ with it. You had established RD stepping on the stick in the previous shot, but it wasn't made clear that it was going to be a method of distraction. So you have her getting the idea to pick up the stick, her actually picking up the stick, and AJ reacting to it all in the same shot. There's so much going on, and there's no real focal point, so the audience doesn't know what they should be paying attention to. This could've been solved if after the shot where you established the stick, you then had a reaction shot where the focus is on RD getting the idea to use it as a distraction, proceeded with a shot of her tail going to pick up the stick, and then cutting to the wide shot where she picks it up. But if I'm being honest, that's just me diving into nitpicking territory. And if that's my biggest complaint, you've obviously done something right. I consider myself to be extremely picky when it comes to fan animations. Not because I have anything against people who are inexperienced, or just starting out. If anything I want to encourage people to get involved with the medium. But because the majority of people who are starting out, or even some who have been making content for a while, don't take the time to study and/or apply the 12 basic principles of animation to their work. And as a result, we have a lot of hastily produced content in this fandom, with very few exceptions that are able to stand out from the crowd. So when something like this comes along, I have nothing but the utmost respect for it. Appreciate a good thing while you have it, people.

Still one of my favorite MLP fan animations. The fluid animation and slapstick is just perfect.

The classic "Looney Tunes" style animation on this is absolutely brilliant. The writing and directing are as tight as can be. You really, really should be proud of yourself, this is a fantastic piece of visual comedy.

I actually rather like it more without VA's. It has a nice voiceless style that I appreciate. It's super cartoony, which makes it pretty great too.

I _love_ your silent character treatment. Their visual emoting is incredibly powerful and expressive, and your audio design / mixing is _stellar_. I won't guess as to why you decided to forego voice-overs, but I daresay the results you achieved here were made all the better by that decision. This is a really unique piece, and I haven't see anything like it before in 5 years of fandom. Extra points for giving Winona some character.

I love the animation. I love the parts where the Rainbow Dash and Applejack get into painful situations, like when Rainbow Dash bursts into an apple at the top of the barn house, and Applejack hits the door and turns into a table. Plus, the timing is superb; its seems you have an insight on how to make the characters move. Awesome job.

Its been a while since I saw the classical Tom and Jerry type of humor))))

So. I loved all of it. The clever use of fast wheel effects on the legs to add emphasize on the speed as well as saving time on making a running cycle animation. I need to know the explanation of the tree mark BM - MP. Timing is great on cuts, holds and pans. I don't feel that a shot was too long or too short, possibly only the shot of RD tip toeing in the background while AJ paced around in the foreground. What is that golden ball in the bushel of apples at 1:12? There's always something going on, I love the subtly of the animated backgrounds from the clouds to the light rays. Overall, it felt similar to a Tom and Jerry skit, especially with AJ turning into a table or RD's eyes popping out. Yeah, even AJ's pose with the arms coming up as she's rolling towards RD just screams Tom to me. Phenominal work. Can't wait to see more from you!

Videos like this give me hope there's still talented animators out there making stuff in the fandom. I don't want to be left thinking there aren't going to be as many creative videos coming out there like there used to be. Of course, it also makes me feel bad because it makes my current animation project look like crap in comparison. So, yeah, really got to pick and choose how you look at stuff.

I remember watching this as a kid, still love this even after I've grown up and moved on from MLP. It's like a love letter to both MLP and classic Looney Tunes.

Hilarious, I totally cracked when Applejack dove into that pond only to find out it was shallow! So this whole thing is like a silint Tom and Jerry episode. The animation is also really great.

The scary part about this is that, it's so close to the actual show animation, I'm lead to believe that you work for DHX. If I heard them talking and it was Ashleigh's voices for these characters, it would most likely confirm that theory. I swear, if I see this, or anything resembling this, in an episode, my mind will explode. Nice work.
