Very strong shift from everyone, particularly the backline and Petro. Andrew and Dave were quite literally impenetrable. I wouldn’t say we conceded a single genuine chance from TFC. DJ with a goal and Brandon was fantastic on the right getting forward. BB certainly up there for MOTM. A few very loose passes from Matty and Buck but all the rest were brilliant. Held possession extremely well and won the ball in midfield. Typical class from Capi. Ema was probably our biggest threat in attack throughout the 90. And we will really be needing him to keep playing at this level with the DB situation. Esmir had a very good start and then fizzled out a bit. Seems to be about a 60 minute shift kind of guy right now which is completely fair. Still extremely young and showing this well so early on is an accomplishment in of itself. Bobby with the strong press and taking advantage of the poor Rosted touch. Keeping the composure for that finish against Johnson is something special!! Latif had some impact coming on while Jozy a bit slower working his way back from injury. Still solid in hold up and drew in the centerbacks but clearly not yet at his best. Rennicks without enough time to make a mark. Overall very good stuff and a comfortable win away. Would have been nice to see Giacs get on the end of some of those BB crosses. They were hard to come by with most getting claimed by Sean Johnson. Really controls his box well. And Laryea was pure class as he has been for some time. What a player he is. Crisp touches and just understands the game so well. I think Forest could easily find a way to get him in that squad. Besides that, still top of the table and keep these performances coming! Back home quick for Pittsburgh then way down to Miami!! GO REVS!!!!!

If there was a Pro/Rel in the MLS you would find Toronto FC in the Second division thanks to their terrible defense.

As a newcomer to MLS, having previously only watched some European soccer, particularly Italy's Serie A, I was pleasantly surprised to see former Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne and former Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi on the pitch for Toronto. It is really a thrill to watch such an intense MLS match and see a Toronto team boasting both Insigne and Bernardeschi still lose 0-2. This game showed me that the quality of play in MLS must be quite high if a team with players of that caliber can lose. With Lionel Messi also coming to this league, it's clear I need to start following MLS more closely going forward.

Kaye needs to go and we need something, anything in our midfield. At this point anyone is better..sapong looked decent but we just looked stagnant.. not one single over the top ball and no runs made by anyone.. No game plan, just randomly passing the ball around and relying on one player to make a difference. We had 5-6 corners and only put two of them in the box..

Johnson must be really really regreting now for leaving NYCFC huh😏...so sad, what what a waste of such a good keeper due the horrible communicatiom, deffense and chemistry of the team...same for Insigne and Bernardeschi

Watch for the Bradley substitute CM Alonso Coello Camarero. He was clinical on the ball and had great distribution. I saw the match today at BMO Field - Insigne was good too but couldnt convert.

My goodness. I love our TFC man, but from what I saw . Passes were poor from TFC. Rosted did a Mc naughton mistake. We need Michael Bradley and Coello out, and new manager. I hope Jonathon comes back soon , we miss him for sure
