Mike really is the definition of "never give up". it's weird how fans don't look at his story as an inspirational one, the ups and downs of his career, to then finally pay off, while having an eye injury that would retire most...is a brilliant example of sheer determination and grit.

My favorite UFC fight was Bisping vs Silva. The heart Mike Bisping showed after getting dropped by a devastating knee was an absolute honor to watch as a martial arts fan. Not many people gave him much of a chance going into the fight and hardly no one gave him one after the knee but he knew he could do it and that's all that mattered.

Man bisping has had some journey. Id say his life is pinnacle of every human. A desire to achieve what they love at all costs, never giving up. Now he can retire happy and enjoying his millions if dollars. God bless America

one of the greatest modern day gladiators the sport has ever seen. unwavering resilience and perseverance. fought and trained his ass off every step of the way and always gave the fans a show inside and outside of the octagon. what a legend. thank you mike bisping!

I've been watching this sport for a long long time. I remember these interviews before he was champion. I thought he was delusional. I thought his time had passed and then he goes and does it. The true essence of a fighter

Just realized his fight with Rockhold for the belt will be an classic one day and probably the thing that pushed him over the edge to be a future Hall of Famer. Without the belt he may have still gotten in, but now there should be no question. Well done buddeh and congrats on retirement

I was so happy when he won the belt, I been a Rockhold fan since his Strikeforce challenger's days and a Bisping fan since TUF 3. I hate events like that were you respect/ love/pull for a team or a competitor, in those situations I'll usually pull for the older guy.
