You will not be required to take the IELTS, CBT or OSCE if you are reapplying for your NMC pin, if you were registered with the NMC before - the readmission process is completely different, just follow the guidelines on yoru basecamp

Hi Motlalepula, unfortunately this is not possible due to immigration restrictions in the UK. One of our employers tried OET on arrival program last year BUT the program was unfortunately cancelled because it has not been going well with the first group of nurses who arrived in the UK on this program. (Only 30% of the nurses on the program passed) so FSHC head office decided to cancel this program all together - which affected you and a few other nurses as well. The reason they decided not to go ahead with this program is because they realised that • Nurses are required to work full time under the visa rules and then to study for OET - was too stressful • Some nurses did not take the training serious enough after they arrived in the visa • The visa rules state that you have to take the OSCE within the 1st 3 months - otherwise you visa can potentially be cancelled and this again was too short time period for some of the nurses So the best way forward is to take the IELTS or OET in your country and as soon as you pass we will get your COS applied for. OET is more expensive than the IELTS and in our experience the pass rates are quite similar to IELTS I hope that I have explained this well enough.Ensuring you of our best intentions at all times Please do let me know should you need any further information.
