@@raqqmuffin7127 Let Yair land a few body kicks on Volk and lets see what Volks speed and cardio looks like then. Yes Yair couldn't beat Holloway but styles make fights. Volk doesn't have the same robust chin that Holloway does. Holloway's abnormally robust chin is what kept him from not getting finished by Yair look at Max's face just a few hours after the fight he too had to be hospitalized for his wounds.

@@raqqmuffin7127 I wouldn't worry about Yair's cardio he is from Chihuahua Mexico a city at high elevation with some terrain reaching as high as above 10,000 feet in elevation where he trains every camp. Why do you think he can kick so much in every fight and still keep a hard pace? Kicks take more energy to throw than punches and only someone with good cardio can throw as many hard kicks as Yair does in his fights.

Yair's improvements from when he left in 2019 to that comeback fight with Max is crazy. Even off that Max loss he managed to improve and now that he's staying active I think he's starting to peak.

Volk really fooled a lot of casuals just because he’s so unreal. Max is an absolute killer. Not many people on earth can beat him in a fair barehanded fight.

Vicious, ferocious, dynamic fighter. All this with class. Sure drama creates interest but so do, purro skills😮. Hard to go against Volk at 145 but same was said about Usman. Looked what happened to him. When Yair gets flowing it’s a thing of beauty unless you’re defending those kicks & strikes

Yair and Volk will be a tremendous fight. Its going to be high level MMA chess. Its going to be crazy. He really is Volks toughest competition. Yairs fluency is amazing but Volks fight IQ and discipline will make it a possible FOTY.

@@foaley77 It's possible Yair is physically stronger than Brian Ortega. Ortega sunk in a few subs on Volk but wasn't strong enough to make him tap. If Yair is physically stronger than Brian and manages to sink a sub on Volk its a very likely way for him to win.

Yair managed to sleep a prime Zombie with an elbow and got a real KO. Yair is the real animal who is the only person who actually slept Zombie in the UFC and the only person who has submitted Josh Emmett in the UFC, the only person to KO Andre Fili in the UFC and yes BJ Penn was old but Yair is the only person to TKO Penn inside 2 rounds.Yair the real animal like his nickname "Pantera".

Lol I really like Alex a lot as a fighter and person but I think Yair beats him, too. His stand up is insane! At that point, if Beneil beats Oliviera, I think he has a good shot at beating Islam and so that fight, if it were to happen immediately after both these fighters possibly lose, would be for a #1 contender spot at 155

Correction they gave each other hell. This is why I want Max to fight Yair again. People went from thinking Yair was a trash fighter to thinking he can steamroll Max now. That's some goofy casual thinking there. Yair wasn't destroying Max on standup. He was always a challenge for Max on the feet and it was very even too. I love how people call Max a panic wrestler just because of the stigma around him being untouchable on the feet.

I think Volk was more worried bout Islam's take downs and grappling that he underestimated Islam's stand up and so his distance game was meh. Give Volk prep time for Yair and he should be ok. Volk's fight IQ and prep is top tier so I wouldn't write him off that easily.

@@ofon2000 yair is spanish native speaker, when he speaks spanish is way more fluent I think is because he wants to express a lot of thing when he does not have the vocabulary or there are not event spanish phrases that you could translate exactly in english like it happens also viceversa

Volky is in for another action fight this time in Da feather weight division, volky couldn't get it done at lightweight so back down you go luckily your championship belt wasn't on Da Line. So now a least volky still has his belt as for 2 divisional championship belt that's totally out of Da picture never going to happen at lightweight. Let’s face it. Yair is a great fighter. But a total diva! Him being the champ would be bad for th FW division. He barely fights, I mean, one fight every year or two. volk takes 3 a year! Sorry buddy but at the end of the day it’s up to the ufc where volk is gonna fight not volk. The ufc is probably gonna make this fight happen in Mexico. It makes sense. Mexico has a market that’s appealing to the ufc and the ufc is gonna wanna get some fans from there. It’ll make sense to make a ppv in Mexico with volk vs yair, Brandon Moreno vs pantoja as the co main. And then maybe Amanda nunes vs irene as a third title fight. The ufc is also building a pi building in Mexico City. It’s clear they want to get in that market. Don’t you think it’ll make sense for them to do a ppv in Mexico this year? Use some common sense lol
