Just to weigh in on this... Nationality means different things in Russia and in the West. Judaism is also considered an ethnicity in Russia just as Chechens, Dagestan etc. In the West nationality means the country that you come from... Hope that clears things up :)

Congratulations Adlan! Great Fight! Also, to those that keep saying he is a Chechen and not a Russian, etc. Well, Chechnya is part of Russian Federation. Adlan has a "Russian" passport, not "Chechen" when he travels overseas. Consider Chechnya as a state because it's a republic of Russia. It has Russian rubles, Russian national laws and follows Russian constitution. Yes, it has it's own inner government, just like every state in the U.S. So he is a Russian national of Chechen decent.
