Kodagu is so great because of Kodava people. Their patriotism is unparalleled. We just say we love our country but they prove it with actions. Kodava people are very respective towards Environment. 7-8 crore people in Karnataka & Tamil Nadu are living because of rains that happen in the catchment areas of Kaveri (Kodagu), Hemavati (Chikkamagaluru) & Kabini (Wayanad). Hats off to Kodavas. They are truly the most wonderful tribe in the nation 🇮🇳

Coorg is smallest district in our state. It has given great soldiers to the country. Kodavas have performed well in sports. Reeth Abraham a Kodava & legendary athlete was my colleague in Corporation Bank.It is a pity that Kodagu is not connected with rail and plane.

@@mmkvlogs omg! Pai uncle I knew him very well . Very sweet , soft spoken gentleman. Nam mane avara thotada hatra ithu. Walked with him many times, I remember he used to have good oranges in plantations and he used to give us whenever we go there, he used to come to our house once in a while. The plantation he used to run infact very close to my place! Haven’t seen him in last 16 years and I heard some years back he was not well and someone said he is no more as well. Not sure how true as they left long back. Amazing to see how small the world is.
