i bought a used one. same production line as the burstner van conversions, and a few other brands using that line as well. the hymer is very well sorted out but to expensive in my opinion. really aimed at customers who never considered anything else than a van conversion.

opening that fridge door 180 degrees so that you can reach in from outside like every 20 minutes or so probably do not leave much cold in there. If you put more beer / softdrinks for the kids to cool they'll need ages to cool - a box that you open from top is probably doing a better job, isnt it?

You'll struggle to find a camper of this size with a top-loading fridge, although that style does exist in smaller campervans like the VW California. Many buyers dislike top-loaders because then you have to move stuff off the (usually very limited) worktop to open the fridge.

Cab air-conditioning for while you drive but no air-con while parked up

Hi. is there anybody who can help me out. looking for a camper/motorhome that can Accommodate 2 people 1 dog. and 2 mountain bikes. the storage under the bed isn't big enough. We are New to Van/camper/motorhome Life.

If you want something van-based then how about the Dreamer Camper Van XL, Adria Twin 640 SGX or Globecar Revolution? Alternatively, a small coachbuilt with a proper garage might work better for you - take a look at the Bürstner Travel Van, Weinsberg Pepper Edition, Dethleffs Globebus and others of this ilk.

We bought the hymercar free evolution (2019) with the additional full size pop top double bed. That would let you keep the rear double bed up and allow bikes etc down the centre perhaps?

This vehicle would have a more adventurous & roomy feeling if it had a drop down bed in the back instead of stationary twins so you don't bump your head on the lockers.hahaha sorry.:) . Also,, when the wet bath is not in use,, pull the rod down and hang your clothes in there. I will say this is totally designed for the "Male" Camper van enthusiast's. XD

The "so-called presenter" is the Editor of What Motorhome magazine. He has been reviewing motorhomes and campervans for the last 34 years... and has never, ever slept rough!
